Dr. Diana Sturm

Welcome to Engineering Professional Development Hours on Beautiful Mobile Bay!!

I'm Dr. Diana Sturm and I'd like to invite you to take your engineering professional development hours in a beautiful classroom overlooking the Mobile Bay and Delta. During the summer, watch the alligators float by and in the evening after enjoying a fresh shrimp dinner, take an airboat ride into the Delta. During the winter, the white pelicans patrol the waterways while Mardi Gras beads are flying through the air in downtown Mobile. Year round you will enjoy your time spent on Mobile Bay.*

Coventry International offers a variety of continuing education classes covering different aspects of the earth sciences for engineering professional development hours. The purpose of learning more about the processes and materials of the earth is to assure that geologic factors affecting the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of engineering structures and the development of groundwater resources are recognized, adequately interpreted, and presented for use in engineering practice.

*Ok, hurricanes aren't fun...but they certainly are an "experience".

Professional Development Hours (PDH)

Each state has specific requirements for continuing education for renewing an engineering license. Please check with your state to determine if these classes would fulfill your state requirements. Each PDH is equal to one classroom hour.
